RentASenior uses cookies when you access the RentASenior Platform to aid in customising the website and improving user experience.
This Cookie Policy applies between you, the user(s) of the website and us, the providers of the website and its services.

How do we use your Personal Information?

We use the Listing Information that we collect generally to fulfill any confirmed purchase or engagement of services through the RentASenior Platform. Additionally, we use this Listing Information to:

Screen listings and responses to listings for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise the RentASenior Platform (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the RentASenior Platform, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Use of third-party service providers and advertisers:

RentASenior may, from time to time, work with third-party companies, otherwise called service providers, who are authorised to place third-party cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies for storing information on our sites or in our services, applications, and tools with our permission.

These service providers help us to provide you with a better, faster, and safer experience. These service providers may help us deliver content and advertising, and compile anonymous site metrics and analytics.

Data retention

When you post or respond to a listing through the RentASenior Platform, we will maintain your Listing Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We retain the data we collect for different periods of time depending on what it is, how we use it, and how you configure your settings: Some data you can delete whenever you like, such as your Personal Information. We keep some data until you delete your RentASenior account, such as information about how often you use our services.

Some data we retain for longer periods of time when necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as security, fraud and abuse prevention, or financial record-keeping.

We try to ensure that our services protect information from accidental or malicious deletion. Because of this, there may be delays between when you delete something and when copies are deleted from any active and backup systems.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
