Liz – Pilates Instructor Surrey

Following my first pregnancy, I was diagnosed with hyperlordosis and started experiencing persistent lower back pain. My osteopath recommended Pilates, and it genuinely changed my life. Twenty-five years later, my posture is better than ever and my back pain is a distant memory. Following Covid I decided I wanted a career change and as I loved Pilates so much I qualified as a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor.

I have just turned 60 and these days you’ll find me teaching group classes in Horsley, Ripley and Cobham, as well as private sessions. Along the way I’ve also taught antenatal Pilates for BusyLizzy and even delivered Pilates classes at Send Prison—which certainly kept me on my toes!

I’m passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger and gain confidence in their bodies. Whether you’re recovering from injury, improving your posture, enhancing your sporting performance or simply wanting to stay active, my aim is to make Pilates enjoyable, effective and welcoming for everyone.

Behind the scenes, I’m fully qualified in Level 3 Pilates, Anatomy & Physiology, Exercise, Fitness & Health, and I am a specialist in Pre- and Postnatal Pilates. I’m a qualified First Aider, fully insured, and all clients complete a health questionnaire before starting so sessions can be tailored safely to individual needs.
